R Tape’s 2000 Blue Block Out™ is a self-wound polyethylene
film tape coated with an aggressive adhesive. Its water-based adhesive
resists attacks by inks and solvents, and withstands multiple pressure
washes and solvent baths. Perfect for wood screens, Blue
Block Out™ is easy to apply, and removes easily from wooden frames and mesh
with no adhesive residue.
R Tape’s White Split Liner polyethylene
block out tape, with a back slit release liner, is the perfect
tape for metal and retensionable frames. Remove half of the release
liner to expose the adhesive for application to the mesh. Keep
the liner on the top half of the block out tape, so this part of
the tape rests against the frame. Taping a frame using this technique
allows you to retension a screen without having to remove and reapply
the block out tape.
R Tape’s 2050
Zone Coat™, a self-wound polyethylene
tape, uses the same proven adhesive system as Blue
Block Out™, but only on the bottom half of the tape. The top half has no
adhesive except a fine line on the edge which allows retensioning
of the screen without removing the tape. Zone Coat™ removes
in one pull with no adhesive residue, and is perfect for metal
and retensionable frames.
